Overview
About Me
I am a laidback Australian who is always up for a chat and a laugh. I currently live in London and try to travel whenever I can/afford to.
Previously I had been studying for 5 years at university (business, drama and teaching). I hadn't been travelling before this, so I'm trying to get as much out of it as possible before I head back home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a more immersive way to visit a new places as you are generally staying with a local who can tell you what the place is really like. This can work positively as they can direct you to the more authentic, less expensive hidden gems that only tourists know about. You can also see what the person you are staying with is like from their profile!
Interests
1) music festivals I have gone to include: Splendour in the grass (Australia), Falls festival (Australia), laneway (Australia), big day out (Australia), field day (London) and all points east (London). Also keen to go to Glastonbury at some point!
2) I often attend gigs with my girlfriend and another friend of ours. Often we end up covered in sweat and with a sore throat at the end.
3) football - I am a football fanatic who religiously follows the premier league and champions league. If you are a Liverpool fan we will be great friends.
4) cricket - Massive fan of the ashes, and I get around the big bash in Australia from time to time.
5) tennis - follow all 4 grand slams and am also a decent person to play tennis with.
6) I have a massive fascination with anything related to world War 2. Been to Berlin and checked out all things world war 2 related, and am still trying to convince my girlfriend to go to the Churchill mueseum in London with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Arctic Monkeys, tame impala, Bob Marley, the strokes, gorillaz (could list all day)
Movies - The Lion King, The pursuit of happiness, rogue one, Invictus
Books - don't read much but did read all of the Great Gatsby which is a classic
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably not amazing in everyone's books, but I did go to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle. I wasn't invited but I was outside Windsor castle watching them go by with thousands of other 'commoners'.
Teach, Learn, Share
If necessary I can teach you how to swim from being able to float or even to bring good enough to enter a squad (I was a swim instructor in Australia),
I want to learn a instrument because of my love affair with music. Would of always loved to be apart of a band. I also want to learn another language!
I can share my experiences of my home culture, my interests and my travel experiences with you.
