Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 yo hungarian university student. Right now I'm studying religious studies in Eötvös Lóránd University in Budapest. I also have a bachelors degree in history.
So far I have always been traveling with a group of friend or family, but right now I'm planning my first lone trip. My goal right now is to visit Iceland.
But enough of the formal stuff.
About me in a few words: I love cycling, hiking, wall climbing...to be honest every type of self powered exploring around new places, including the more extreme ones like snowboarding, diving, tandem jump, etc.
I don't smoke and smoking is not generally allowed in my place. But if I visit someone, I accept their habits of smoking (no matter what they smoke), but sadly I won't join him or her in this one.
Ohh and one important thing: I love good quality coffee and I usually really need one to start my day right with one to be at least decently energetic and human-like :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hmm...Because I want to travel and visit as much beautiful places as I can!
Well the real reason: according to my previous experiences it's much more fun to have a mate who's living in the place I visit, and he or she can help me out with travelling around, good food and fun experiences.
The real-real reason is below these ones of course the horribly high prizes of accomodations in foreign countries and the usual tourist scams of the frequent tourist destinations. So I would rather trust in the words of a real local host, than some random internet touristsite or a hotels' recepcionist.
I want to share this type of travel experience with my visitors soon too, so in my case it's really a back and forth deal for my hosts and future visitors :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music types are easy: I generally i listen to rock and metal, but also love the historic folk artists and if I'm in the mood some of the electronic artists too.
Favorite band: Now this is the unanswerable question...Just a few artists of the playlist I'm listening to right now as I'm writing these lines: Amaranthe, Powerwolf, Omnia, Iron Maiden, Eluveitie, Varduna, Elveinking, Faun, Sabaton, etc...
Favorite movie: LoTR ...I have seen it at least 30 times ..Yepp the extended director's cut edition.
Favorite books...this is a though question again...lemme' look at my bookshelf: Lovecraft's all works[ (;,,;) ], and mythic stories, starting with the Eddas
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ate with my buddy a 1,5 million SHU Trinidad Scorpion Chilli without tears or milk or anything. This is the strongest chilli sold and shipped to the EU right now.
If you want to see that face, check out my last profile pic (lol)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how the middle eastern europeans eat, talk, entertain themselves. I can cook quite a few typical hungarian recipes if you wanna try something.
Also I love exercising in all forms, so if you wanna go for a hike or a run, I gladly accompany you.
If you wanna try something typically hungarian I can bring some of them with me. Like the alltime favorite: pálinka (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A1linka)
Of course if you know any good places for a tasty beer or something locally special, I'll invite you for a few rounds of it :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I depends on the situation. If it's possible to send and international package containing food and some quality alcohol, than it's shared with the host of course. In other conditions I can buy and prepare food for both of us.
The shared room option is no problem for me, I lived for 2,5 years of shared room during my BA studies.
