I am an absolutely easy-going and friendly person. I avoid getting into conflicts, and appreciate every opportunity to learn something new. My dream is to travel the world one day, and make friends with representatives of as many cultures as possible. I’m studying in the US now hoping that it will help me become a better teacher of English. I believe that for my profession it is crucial to be open- and broadminded, and I hope that becoming friends with you will help me with that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m Russian currently studying in the US as an exchange student. I am majoring in foreign languages and cultures, and that’s why I’ve chosen Couchsurfing as a traveling option. For me it’s a pure enjoyment to get to know people from different countries and cultures, and enrich my knowledge about the world. Besides,as a cultural ambassador of Russia, I’m willing to share the culture of my country, and I hope you’ll be happy to learn about it!

My favorite music artists are Sleeping at Last and NF, my favorite band is Kodaline. My favorite books so far are “Shadow of the Wind” by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and "Educated" by Tara Westover. And my favorite movies are “Australia” and “Interstellar”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a road-trip across America with my friends last Christmas break! It was a lot of fun, and I saw so many amazing places that I wasn’t even expecting to be that beautiful. We visited 12 states in one month, and my personal favorites are definitely Washington and Utah. The breathtaking Zion National Park is probably the prettiest place I’ve seen!
