I am a soon-to-be 29 year old Norwegian girl who loves to travel, I particularly fancy spontaneous trips. I’m currently travelling Mexico and Central America and would love to meet some locals and other travelers to create memories and share stories throughout this trip.

In 2018/2019 I spent nearly 5 months in South America volunteering within the fields of Law and Human Rights and traveling independently. During that trip I realised that I loved Latin America

In addition to traveling, I love to hike mountains and other outdoor experiences. When I'm not at work, at the top of a mountain or working out, I like to hang out with my friends, read a good book, knit, grab a coffee, drink a cold beer outside or simply just relax in great nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I love to get an authentic experience of the countries I visit, I think Couchsurfing can help me to do just that. Not only will I be lucky enough to experience how locals live in different countries, I will also meet other openminded people who can show me spots I would never have found on my own. I also like the thought of getting friends all over the globe and to teach them a little bit about Norway.

Right now I'm a big fan of Norwegian music like Sigrid, AURORA, Highasakite, Emilie Nicolas, Susanne Sundfør, etc. But I listen to nearly anything except for hard metal.
I can't choose ONE favourite book, there's simply too many good books out there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and experiences (good and bad, mostly funny) from travels I've done. I can also help teach some Norwegian or English if my host wants to learn a few phrases/improve their language skills. Although I am not an amazing cook, I'll be happy to cook a meal or two to say thank you for having me; and I will definitely share smiles and probably make you laugh. I will also do my best to accommodate you if you ever want to visit Norway and show you some great mountains and beautiful nature.
