About Me

I don't like talking about myself... I'm afully bad at it, but let's try.

Who am I?
The short version: A nearly 20 year old girl from the eastern part of Germany, a really underrated region. I finished my A-Levels in 2018 and now I'm trying to enjoy life as much as possible. The long version: Let's meet and you get to know the long version :)

What am I doing currently?
I think other people would say nothing. I'm not studying or anything else at the moment, at least not at the university. Others would say I'm doing a gap year, I think that is what comes closest. I'm traveling, I'm learning new things, I meet with friends, I do creative stuff. The things you do when there is a year full of possibilities. And additionally I'm also freelancing.

My hobbies
I think there are just a few things I didn't try. But making music and being creative are by far the best things to do. I really like to play the ukulele and I'm also playing the piano. Everything self taught, I hope I can get lessons some day. Currently I'm also learning Icelandic and Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think by meeting locals you get to know the country and the culture way better than by just staying in your hotel and lying at the beach. So you can already guess that I don't prefer the "classical" way of traveling. But I think this is not something new for poeple, that are using couchsurfing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I know - cliche - but I like french comedies. And some underrated indie movies. I'm one of those persons that go to cinema whenever they can. And I also read everything I get my hands on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the best thing I can share with you is my time :) But for the ones that wann to learn something new: I can also offer basic skills for different languages, show you how to play the ukulele (definitely the best instrument in the world) or we can cook together. Endless possibilities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Isn't this nearly the same question like the one above? :D
