I am currently studying abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for 6 months and will be backpacking for 2 months in December.

My favorite book definitely is the Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo. I read it for the first time at age 10 and more and more so, I unfold the meaning of the book: that material treasure in life is not the objective, but rather the real treasure is the journey and the people we along the way.
