Hello 👋 my name is Mathías Sánchez, you can simply call me Mathi though. I was born in a little country between Argentina and Brazil known as Uruguay. In my childhood I love mixing stuff and seeing what happens which explains my taste for chemistry.

Telling a little bit about my story, I grew up in a modest family where I couldn't have too many luxuries. For this reason I was taught to work hard to get rewards. However, In my childhood I was happy watching some anime, discovering reading with Harry Potter books, and coming across with the technology revolution - specially playing some video games in Play Station one. After that, it was time to be a teenager, highschool was a happy time where I discovered what I love, like chemistry, fencing 🤺 and learning about other cultures. Finally, I studied in the "Universidad de la República" - the main and surely the best university of Uruguay - in its college of chemistry. Actually I have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemist which I got this year.

Since I remember I was always an independent and thoughtful person who was all the time thinking and wondering about life questions. What is more, I describe myself as a self-taught person who also love learning from others.

I have worked since I started the first university's year. My first job was in Mc Donalds where I learned many things like the importance of working as team or even how angry can be a person who was given a wrong hamburger. Nowadays I am working in a international pharmaceutical company as a Supervisor in the production department which is so challenging and I learn a lot everyday.

what are my dreams?... For some people maybe is an easy question but I prefer go step by step, little goal by little goal. Although I guess my dreams are attached to get in touch with awesome people and always have the opportunity to travel and know the most I can about the world.

* I listen to many genres but I have to choose: Ed Sheeran, 21 pilots, maroon 5, Coldplay, Green Day, Nothing but thieves, Artic Monkeys, Nirvana, Bruno Mars, Queen, The doors, Michael Jackson.

*Movies: I really love movies my favorite one is "the persuit of hapiness", others that I can mention are "the wolf of wall street", "the lord of the rings" saga, films from marvel, "good morning vietnam".

* I started reading with Harry Potter books when I was a boy.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have done some crazy things in my life but the next one will be big one. I am going to leave everything here and go to Philadelphia for a couple of months just to learn from people and travel which is what I really love.

I could help with Spanish language, actually I can show the Uruguayan accent and the way we speak it here. I am not the best cooking, but it is something that I enjoy learning, and of course you must learn what "chivito" is.
I like to talk about any topic you can imagine. Sports like football, tennis; movies, series, economy, travelling and science are good ones to start with. Also sharing stories would be awesome.
Learn motivates me all the time, it is like sugar for my brain. I have a curious spirit.

I can share my positive and powerful energy, I consider myself emphatic and sociable. Therefore, I feel so happy when I am helping people or participating in others duties.
Obviously my culture and learnings will be there any time. I can recommend some movies or series, o watch some that you wanted to.
