Working as an engineer in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
It's a small working city usually overlooked, as Taipei or Taichung/Kaohsiung being much more known to people.
However, Hsinchu also got its own vibe, suitable for a day trip and getting to see a different part of Taiwan.

Since I got my own studio now, I sometimes send offers to people traveling around Taiwan.
On the one hand I'd like to return the kindness when I got hosted years ago (mainly in Europe as a student back then), and on the other hand I enjoy making friends with internationals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS in 2018, just before going to Europe for my master's degree, and thanks to my host in Germany who's really nice, my first CS experience was very fun!

Using couchsurfing doesn't mean I see it as a platform for finding "free accommodation"; instead, I believe it connects amazing people who are willing to share, and those who like to meet new friends when in a new place.

1. Went to a surf-shop at Yilan City in Taiwan for one-month work-exchange (2016)

2. Did a summer internship in Singapore, when I also visited Malaysia and Indonesia (2018)

3. Took the night train from Cologne to Munich for Oktoberfest 🍻 (2018)

4. I adopted a koala in Australia! 🐨 (2020)

5. Graguated and started a 3-month traveling in Europe! (2021)

6. I got to cuddle a koala in Australia! 🐨 (2023)
