Soy Argentina, Periodista, vegetariana y amante de los deportes y los perros. Recién a los 26 me di cuenta de que la rutina y la vida de oficina no es para mí. Estoy planeando vivir viajando (al menos) por el próximo año. Quiero conocer todas las maravillas del mundo, pero Perú encabeza mi lista.
Se que es un objetivo/propósito muy grande querer cambiar el mundo pero es una meta que me rehúso dejar ir. Así pueda hacer la vida de una persona un poco mejor sólo por hacerla reír un rato, eso ya habrá valido la pena. Quiero que mi vida haya valido la pena y no haber sido una esclava de un escritorio.
Quiero viajar para acercarme a todas las culturas que la vida me permita. Nutrirme y experimentar todo lo que pueda. Y si en el camino puedo ayudar a otros, no creo que haya algo mejor!

Hi! It's Alina! I'm a 26 year old argentinian journalist, vegetarian, dog lover and sports fanatic. I recently discovered that rutine and office work lifestyle it's not for me. I'm planning to travel the world for (at least) a year. I want to visit all the wonders of the world. Perú is in the top of my list.
I know that it is a very big goal / purpose to want to change the world but it is a goal that I refuse to let go. So if I can make a person's life a little better just by making laugh a while, that will have been worth it. I want my life to be worthwhile and not have been a slave to a desk.
I want to travel to get closer to all the cultures that life allows me. Nourish myself and experience everything I can. And if I can help others along the way, I do not think there is anything better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Quiero recorrer el mundo y no quiero que el dinero sea un impedimento para ello. Me parece que couchsurfing es una gran (¡y maravillosa!) herramienta para los que amamos viajar pero no disponemos de un presupuesto abultado para afrontar gastos de hospedaje. El plus más grande y lo que hace de esto algo único es que te sirve en bandeja y es una experiencia mano a mano con la cultura local del país que visites. Es una oportunidad única.

I want to travel the world and I don't want to money be an issue. So I found in couchsurfing an excellent tool for those who loves travel and don't have a big budget to spent in lodging. Also because brings you a hand-to-hand experience to the local culture of the country you visit. It's a ver unique opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books

Amo leer. El principito fue mi primer libro pero como la gran mayoría de los nacidos en los 90, le debo mi gran amor a la lectua a JK Rowling. Mis libros preferidos son las venas abiertas de américa latina de Eduardo Galeano (cualquiera de su autoría) y ensayo sobre la ceguera de Saramago. García Márquez es un hit también.
Voy a decir la típica de la música y es que escucho de todo. Si tengo que elegir, me quedo con el rock nacional argentino: charly, aznar, serú giran, sui generis y en lo más visceral, los redondos y callejeros.
Películas: thrillers de suspenso que no esperes el plot twist y comedias románticas de bajo presupuesto.

I LOOOOVE reading. The little Prince was my first one, but like the most of 90s born, I have to mention JK Rowling. My favourite book is Las venas abiertas de América Latina from Eduardo Galeano (honestly, anything written by him it's totally fine). Also Saramago and García Márquez.
I listen all type of music but I prefer argentinian national rock.
Thrillers are my movies. That ones that you don't expect the plot twist. Romantic comedies with low budget are my guilty plessure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tengo un miedo a las alturas terrible (de esos que te transpiran las manos solo de ver imágenes de gente escalando), así que considero que lo más increíble que hice fue saltar en paracaídas. Después de eso, subirme a un avión y estar en Salta en precipicios de más de 4000m de altura son pan comido.
También fui parte de la construcción de una casa. Levantar una casa desde sus cimientos fue una locura y haber sido parte de esa experiencia fue muy gratificante.

I'm affraid of heights. Big time. My hands sweats only for watch people hiking big cliffs. So the most amazing thing that I did was parachute jumping. After that, fly on a plane and be in 4000m cliffs in Salta was a peace of cake. Not really hahaha.
I built a house, that was pretty dope and very gratifying.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lo que más quiero es empaparme de otras culturas y llevarme en mi retina los rincones más lindos que pueda conocer. No quiero comprar el miedo que venden los noticieros para que le tengas terror a las personas de al lado o a lo desconocido. Me niego a pensar que hay más maldad que bondad. Así que más que enseñar, espero poder aprender de todas las personas a las que me cruce, de todas las culturas a las que llegue y así poder hacernos creer que el resto del mundo está a la vuelta de la esquina.

What I really want and expect is learning about other cultures and take with me mental pictures from every corner of the world. I don't want to buy the fear that the news sells that make everyone scared to the people next to them or to the unknown. I refused to think that way. I want to believe that the rest of the world is around the corner.

Lo que necesiten, me adapto con facilidad y creo poder desempeñar cualquier tarea ya sean domésticas, cuidado de niños, construcción, manejo de redes sociales, clases de inglés básico o deportes (jugué voley y handball profesionalmente). También soy fotógrafa freelance.

Anything you need, I adjust easily. I can teach basic english or sports (I played volleyball and handball professionally), babysitting, help with building houses or social media. Also i'm a freelance photographer.
