About Me

Hello lovely people! 🤗

I’m Federico, born and raised in Italy, currently in Switzerland studying mathematics at university (what I’m doing after that? Good question, I’m still looking for an answer).

I would define myself as pretty adventurous, independent, curious and always seeking new stimulations from life. I tend to see the positive side of whatever happens in my life and I try to live at best each day.

You are on couchsurfing, so saying that I like traveling may sound quite unoriginal. 🗺️It's more I like everything that is around spontaneous travel, the thrill of getting to a new place as the road is running in front of you, your gain in terms of knowledge, open-mindedness, vision of life, the people that you meet and will never forget.
I am a fan of organizing things as you go, seeking the stimulus and desire of the moment, and I see in the combination of hitchhiking and couchsurfing a great way to keep meeting amazing people and leaving moments you will hardly forget!

I’m quite into a lot of cultural stuff.🤓 Really passionate about art, modern art, art that I don’t know yet. I am re-descovering theater recently. I’ve spent a good amount of time in my life on classic European literature, alternating it with more trivial readings, scientific stuff or geopolitics. Or movies, or comics, or other stuff. I’ve always been really receptive to new stuff. New stuff is great.

I also love events. Events are amazing.

The other side of me is really sporty.⛷️ Outdoor sports. In the last years I really took advantage of the opportunities of living near the Alps. From climbing to mountaineering and ski alpinism, I spent as much time as I could surrounded by nature, sleeping in isolated shelves in the mountains or reaching unknown peaks ^^

I’m currently really concerned about the climate change, I'm considering new ways to give my contribution to the problem.

This is a safe area, just be at ease and be yourself!

LGBTQ+ friendly🏳️‍🌈

I spite of being omnivorous, I support vegetarian and vegan choices and I will adequate to them. I am actually a big fun of fruit and vegetables 🥦🥬🥜🥕

For the first time since I joined this network I am able to host, if my roommates are cool with it. 🙏
Please read about the accommodations agreement!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Best way of travelling when you are on the road

Best way to have random strangers during your monotonous days to hit you up and remember the vibe of the road running in front of you and the thrill of new adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

🎶Music: Rock, Heavy metal, rap, open to any other kind

🎬Movies: many kinds, I like movies that are somehow unusual.
Fan of Tarantino

📚Books: I've been reading a broad variety of books, but I'm more on the classics. I like fantasy and science fiction too.
I have read "On the road" by Kerouac recently, after having already lived many adventures. I find a lot of myself in that book!
