Quite a shy person by nature but it doesn't last long once I get talking. I've never been one for small talk but I love a more meaningful conversation and am always interested to hear other people's take on life the universe and everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have done a lot of travel in my lifetime but have grown weary of the usual backpacker routes I tend to get stuck in. All the best travelling experiences I've had have been when I've met kind locals that want to show you places less visited. This seems to be the perfect platform to help with that

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three days on a mahout course in the mountains of Laos learning how to handle elephants that had been rescued from the logging industry. That was pretty amazing for me.
