About Me
Hello, my name is Fiona. I'm 24 years old and I'm studying to become a Vet at the University of Zurich.
I love the nature and to explore everything. Until now I' haven't seen that much of the world but I'd like to find out more about it and about all the different cultures.
I love music because I think that it is the one language everyone is able to understand and it can reflect all the different feelings and emotions.
I like to spend time with others and discuss everything that comes to mind. As well as playing board games, watching movies or singing karaoke together.
I love horseback riding, the relationship one can build with an animal through trust and the way it feels to reach something as a team means a lot to me.
Another thing that is important to me is cooking, creating something that makes your day better out of just a few ingredients.
Last but not least my motto of living: You can do whatever you want as long as you believe in it.
And another I have to add to my motto list is the Icelandic saying þetta reddast, which means as much as it's going to be alright :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is one thing to explore the World but it's another to get in touch with the different cultures. I think that there is no better option to find out how people all over the world really live than living with them. So, when I found out that there is another option than booking a hostel I was so excited. That's why I'm here because I want to experience the world and get to know all the great people.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are so many different styles of music. It changes with my mood. I love romantic books and fiction stories. When I was younger I loved (and still I like) Harry Potter. My favorite movie is "Letters to Juliette". I can't really say why but I've seen it in three different languages and so many times and I still love it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing at 8 am on the front deck of MS Norröna seeing Iceland rise up trough the fog.
Riding on a Icelandic horse trough the highlands gathering hundreds of sheep.
Travelling in one week from the south of Germany to the north seeing wonderful places an meeting most amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: music, German, being creative ( when there is a problem I don't stop searching for a solution until it is solved), cooking swiss foods or cooking in general, juggle, playing the violin, unicycling, knitting...
I love to learn as much as possible. It does not matter what, my interests are very diverse. What I would love to learn, is playing the guitar and speaking Spanish.
I love to share all my experiences. I would love to sing and talk and cook together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook so I can show you our tasty swiss dishes (of course I can do just pasta as well ;-). Maybe if you crave for something sweet I love to bake and know many recipes.
I am very creative so if you have something that needs to be fixed somehow let me trie.
I love to share my experiences and just have some conversations.
