One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In April and May 2017, I went hiking and camping in Alaska with my sister and a friend. While there, we spent a few days in Denali National Park and went backcountry camping in a "leave no trace" fashion. We saw caribous, moose, countless birds, and almost met a mama bear and her cub. We only had one human interaction. We went on beautiful hikes, and we saw the sun set twice on the same day - the sun was travelling so low on the horizon that it hid behind a mountain, came out on the mountain's side, and then set again.
