Hello! My name is Nicole and I am a student in Chicago majoring in Public Policy Studies and specializing in Economics. I am both Bolivian and American and really enjoy exploring new cultures, as well as sharing pieces of my own.

I was born in Arkansas, USA, but moved around a ton growing up, which is why my hometown is listed as the one place that was consistent for me: my parents' hometown of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

Some of my hobbies include bike riding, dancing, and cooking. I specifically like to dance salsa and bachata, and I recently have gotten into hustle.

I am currently studying in Moscow for the summer, taking a language course and exploring the city. I would love to meet new friends and learn more about Russian culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As evident by my lack of references, I am fairly new to couchsurfing. I have heard really great things about the platform, and I wanted to give it a try while in Russia as I will want to travel a bit and also meet people in the city of Moscow. I hope to meet new people soon!

I enjoy romantic comedies, dramas, and thrillers. I wish I watched more movies, but I spend most of my entertainment time watching tv series such as The Office, The Handmaid's Tale, and Friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some spanish, some salsa dance moves, or even how to cook a classic italian pasta dish or bolivian soup!
