I have really started to travel after my kids flew the coop and spent most of the last 6 1/2 years in Puerto Eswcondido Oaxaca Mexico, but have traveled around mexico and guatemala as well as parts of eaurope. I am on a mission to find a beach where I can have a second home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've experienced the community through friends who are couch-surfers and hosts, and I really enjoy the same types of experiences so I joined. I love to learn from others. I've been able to learn from people all over the world in Puerto Escondido Mexico where a lot of travelers visit and its sparked my interest to travel more. Right now I am in Seattle getting ready for my next trip to the Canary Islands.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music and I am always search for new interesting music. There is rarely a music I can't appreciate in one way or another, but if I had to say what I tend to like its world music, alternative, oldies, rock, classical, jazz, industrial, reggae, ska, punk. Sometimes some country music and some rap is not enjoyable, but I love music in general. The best music for me is live real magic happening in front of you.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and learn from others who cook. Through our interactions cooking we teach each other about our cultures and new recipes, so cooks are more than welcome. Also, I am learning Spanish and would like someone who can practice with me and I am always willing to help people practice English if you are interested.
