About Me

I was born in Mexico City and raised in the north of the country. I moved to Texas on 2012 to get my degree in Civil Engineering.
I worked for a highway design firm in Texas and recently started working in construction.
I like sports, especially soccer. I love to travel, meet new places, new people. I like to collect memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I believe the best way to travel and really know the city is to live it as a local. When you are a tourist, almost always you stay in the tourist places, when the city has a lot more to offer. When you travel with a local, you get to meet more local people, go to local places, try local food, drinks, etc.
I believe it is the best way to know a city and meet all types of people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, except heavy metal, or heavy rock. But what I mostly enjoy is pop rock and folk.
I like all movies. For real. If I didn't like one, it was probably one of the worst movies there is.
I like to read everything, I try to read one book I enjoy and then one from where I can learn something. My favorite genre is historical novels. My favorite author is Jeffrey Archer, and my favorite book is the #4 in The Clifton Chronicles "Be Careful what you wish for".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went from Zagreb, Croatia to Budapest asking for a ride because the train station was closed due to all the migrants leaving Syria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share all my experiences in every aspect. My travels, my sport knowledge, my professional knowledge. I think that sharing and learning from other people is a place where your intelligence grows. Everybody has something to offer and a story to tell.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am extremely respectful with things that aren't mine. When I am a visitor anywhere I try to leave things the same or better than when I got there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Hungary

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico, United States
