Hii everyone! I'm Alina

I have lived in three different parts of Russia (12 years in northern Siberia), in the USA and the Netherlands, and now I am based in Rome in Italy. And I still don't know where I'm going to live in a month! So I live in the moment and travel 🥰

I am a product designer: I create different designs, from wooden chairs to food packaging, from websites to children's bicycles, from jewelry to illustrations and logos.

This year 2024, I am especially passionate about cooking from different cuisines, creating my jewelry with real flowers inside and traveling to picturesque places in Europe!

About food: I don't eat meat (but I do eat fish, eggs and milk). And I don't eat spicy, at all at all. If it's a little spicy, I feel like a dragon with fire in my mouth! I like to try to cook and to eat new dishes.

I'm here because I absolutely love discovering new cultures and people with different mindset. Connect deeply, walk or bike for hours, see authentic places and especially nature, try to understand a new culture, feel freedom and trust in the world 🌍

Couchsurfing gives me endless joy from the people I meet here, which I carry through the years 🫶🏻

兴趣

I've done a lot of crazy things in my life, and hopefully even crazier ones are ahead.

I have hitchhiked thousands of kilometers in 6 countries. I did mountaineering professionally and was on 5 peaks of the Caucasus mountains (the highest in Europe). I went on long bike trips from Russia to Estonia and Finland. I've been dancing all my life and doing yoga for 4 years. I am engaged in volunteering, I was at the excavations of the ancient city of Ephesus in Turkey (where one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world is located).

I love psychology and even studied it for 1.5 years. I have been in my personal therapy for 4 years now, and this is one of the best processes in my life! I can openly share my changes and talk about psychology in general.

I slept on the top of a mountain in the Caucasus right under the glacier at an altitude of 3500 meters. Starry sky is awesome!
