About Me

Hey there ! My name is Victor, I'm a french guy and i'm about to go on an adventure ! In a couple of weeks, i'll be leaving my flat, my stuff, and pretty much everything I know to go and see the world ! I'm leaving with a light backpack and a head full of dreams ! I have no real plan regarding where i want to go, or when i want to get there. The whole point is to follow my heart, seize new opportunities, meet a lot of new people, and learn about the world and myself !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told be about Couchsurfing, and even though I've heard of it before, I never took the time to look it up.
Since I'll be travelling the world, I figured now would be the best time to go ahead, and get in touch with new people all over the world, and maybe help each other out !

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to listen to a lot of different kind of music ! I've always been a huge blues fan, I'm in love with Gilmour's Pink Floyd, and can't stop dancing to psytrance, or techno..!
I used to read a lot when I was younger, and some of my favourite books are the Farseer Trilogy (Robin Hobbs), or La Horde du Contrevent (A french book written by Damasio).
When it comes to movies, that's a tough choice. I love Ferris Bueller's Day off, mainly for that museum scene, but I also can't get Old Boy out of my head, for it is so well made I felt uncomfortable watching it :D I'm also fond of "Himalaya, l'enfance d'un chef" !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've left for several weeks when I was young, with my bike & my tent, and went wandering on the western french coast. I had to get out of my comfort zone, and meet new people, face different challenges. It's not the most impressive thing there is, but it's what I've always considered as my milestone, the decision that would change the way I want to live my life.
