Overview
About Me
I am still seeking for the life that I want to live... I find it hard to frame myself in words, as I keep changing and evolving. I am curious about different cultures and traditions and I’m interested in how to live a more sustainable life. I love spending my time outside (especially in forests), I love music and dancing and running (I even ran a marathon in Hamburg/Germany!) and fresh food, I love gardening and I am interested architecture/ interiors. That’s another reason why I am curious about other people’s homes :) in March 2018 I did an internship at the Earthship Academy in Taos, New Mexico, which inspired me to build my own sustainable off-grid house one day. I have worked in different places, such as a medical laboratory, a farm and a spiritual workshop-center. And yes, I like traveling and plunging myself into new and unfamiliar situations, I have been to India several times, to Thailand, Siberia, US, Canada and many countries in Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don’t feel comfortable staying at hotels... I always feel in the wrong place. I like meeting people and their culture, get into talks and learn about their way of living. It’s inspiring! I am still overwhelmed by so many heartwarming experiences with incredibly generous people and hosts. Once I settle down somewhere I want to give it all back, share what I have with the community, be a great tour guide and generous host. These experiences have left an amazing imprint on my mind and triggered something deep inside that I still can’t fathom, but it is something that I was missing in the modern western society.
