Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I recently came to Europe for the first time and am traveling all by myself. Since I have experienced the kindnesss and good hearts of strangers, and don't have a big budget, I decided to give this a try! I have hosted some Couchsurfers at home because of my brother, and I really think it is a beautiful way to meet new people and truly see the cities for what they are.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music - In regards to Music, I am a pretty open listener, so I have a big range of tastes which goes from Classic rock - Beatles, the doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin - To Salsa, Andean music, Cumbia, Electro, Disco, Funk, Soul and pretty much everything that feels nice or makes me want to dance.

Movies - It is hard to pick a few movies but I would say Big Fish by Tim Burton left a very big impression on me at a very young age. I recently saw this other movie I loved called Wild, with Reese Witherspoon, which I loved. I also love Disney classics like Alice in Wonderland, and enjoy comedies and chick flicks. I love learning new stuff so I can appreciate new discoveries :)

Books - Recently I have discovered this new book called Big Magic, by Elizabeth Gilbert which I am obsessed with. Not a particular genre or author, but I love reading about Anthropology, Philosophy and Personal development.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have been in a Silent Meditation retreat (twice) for 10 days each. It meant no talking, reading, music...nothing. I feel very proud of accomplishing that. :)
