Hello! I am a teacher and I took a sabbatical year to realize projects, write a book and travel around the world, and make new friends. I am a mother of 3 young adults. My mother thong is French but I can communicate in English and in Spanish. I lived and taught 10 years in a native community of the North of Canada. I have knowledge about the Indian and Inuit cultures ans traditions and I am always happy to share what I learned from this beautiful experience. I will publish this year a children’s book about a true story that happen to my family when we were living up North. It’s a beautiful story about friendship and solidarity. I will be please to tell you the story if you show interest. I have different interests: environment, art, cultures, books, music, food ( I know how to cook), politics, ecological houses, nature, etc.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I do not like travel as a tourist. I always like to get to know local people of the countries I visit, make friends, get to know their culture and way of living. I did a lot of international exchanges programs when I was younger. Being a member of Couchsurfing is a good way to meet nice people from everywhere in the word and to feel we are all members of a big family, the human kind! The kind humans!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was elected as a local politician in my town and realized projects to improve children’s literacy that made a big difference for those families. I organized a collect of money to help a farmer from Canada to defend himself against an injust lawsuit from Monsanto.

I can teach French or English. I can explain the situation ( partly because it’s very complex) of the Inuit and Aboriginal community of Canada. I can cook meals from Canada.
