One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel all across France to surprise my mother on her birthday while my exams where 4 days later. I just stepped inside the house without luggage, heart bumping and palms sweating. I saw her first and said “happy birthday” my voice shaking. I don’t know why I was stressed out haha. She just couldn’t believe it, she stared at me in disbelief while thinking “Am I dreaming ? Is this her little sister ? My eyes are betraying me”. I just stayed for a weekend, but I will cherish this memory all my life.
Maybe not the most amazing thing for some people but family comes first to me :)
