Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to explore the country from the inside, I want to feel the real spirit of the country and folks instead of visiting stereotyped sights. I prefer to experience the real life. And I am sure that locals have special advices and insider tips regarding what to do and where to go (or not to do and not to go 😄)

• I listen to all kind of music from classic or folk to heavy metal, depending on my mood.

• Book reading is my big passion. All the time I have a book with myself, and read as much as possible. “Master and Margarita” of Bulgakov, “One hundred years of solitude” of Markes, “Old man and the sea” of Hemingway, “Arch of Triumph” of Remarque , “Memories of geisha” remain my favorite books for a long time.

• From books to films: I try to read first, imagine the scene, feel the smell, with my whole imagination, and connect myself to the idea of author. Then I compare incarnation with original.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is a saying in russian language “ Век живи, век учись” which is translated as “how many you live so many you should learn”. In my opinion this phrase describes my desire of live and learn. I want to know a lot about live, history, nature, religions, human being, spirituality... I admit that I am weak on sciences, but I am filling this gaps. I want to know as much as possible. I am still lika a child who do not know what awaits around the corner, and curious what to expect.
