About Me

I am a Brazilian scientist who is in love with travelling and swimming at every beach existent in this World. I am in love with the sea since I was born basically and I have made my passion also my job which makes me a very happy person. My job has allowed me to live and travel to many countries so far but I still have a lot to see. I am very fond of talking and sharing experiences while at the same time very respectful, I will not invade your personal space and I am as comfortable with silence as I am with talking and sharing a lovely meal. Because I am used to travelling and sharing housing with strangers I am pretty good at this point with following house rules. I am sure you will not regret saying yes to my future couchsurfing requests. Besides, I love cooking ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because currently I live in France and I am planning on backpacking around Europe, I am planning on producing videos and internet content to show universities and scientific projects that are targetting improving the Environment and Society all around Europe, basically it would be a travel Instagram profile as those you might be used to see, but focused in scientific content, with that I am hoping to increase the interest of students for the academic and science professional path, because education is crucial if we want to improve a little bit this planet where we co-exist.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a favourite music because I grew up in a house with a dad who is a professional cello player at the Symphonic Orchestra of Sao Paulo, who played Tchaikovsky and listened to Musica Popular Brasileira (Popular Brasilian Music) or MPB, Black Sabbath, Beatles, Elton John, so I am sure you can understand why I can't pick one, these are all monsters and have uncountable great albums and music.
In terms of books, I participate in several book clubs so I also have multiple favourites. I like reading science fiction, romances, detective books and biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done some amazing things over the last few years. My top 5 would be
1. Every time I arrive at the airport and see my family after a long time away, the feeling of love is inexplicable.
2. Seeing the snow for the first time with my own eyes.
3. Dive in Greece.
4. Fish squids at 1 am in Greece along with friends, on a desert island in Greece.
5. Learn French

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese, English and Spanish. help with house cleaning, work on internet content like websites among other things. I would like to learn other languages and also local history and stories. My favourite part of a journey is to share my knowledge about travelling, history and science. I can talk about Brazil and all I have lived while living in totally different countries.
