Présentation
À propos de moi
Hello there! My name is Fran van Wyk and i'm looking to adventure! I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and before pursuing a career in medicine I want to travel the world and meet amazing people along the way! I'm a very open and friendly individual and I have a strong desire to meet cool people, see interesting new places and mostly have a lot of fun. I have VERY low needs as far as surfing goes, I can always find my own food and a patch of grass makes an acceptable home for me. Mostly i'm interested in learning about new people and places and having exciting new experiences!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm joining couch surfing to be able to meet locals in areas I want to adventure, get their take on where i'm visiting and hopefully find fun and creative ways to pay them back! I could do some gardening for you, make you some bread, or just have some good old human interaction!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I did a cycle touring trip to Winnipeg from Vancouver (2304Km) when I was 17 after I graduated from high school. It took around 10 days but it was an amazing experience, a lot of hard work.
I'm gonna do another one just because; I'm a treeplanter! I say it's amazing because it's considered one of the hardest jobs in the world by a lot of people, and I wholeheartedly agree with that.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I have a few things that I could teach, for example I have a lot of experience with Caving, climbing and various rope techniques. I also have some basic survival/outdoor skills that I would love to share, but like I said they're pretty simple! I am also decent at making bread and love to show people how.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I am more than willing to work! Whether it's the garden, the kitchen, the house, I would love to contribute back any way I can! I also have a few stories to share and am always a fan of a good old fashioned conversation.
