Overview
About Me
I am a half Brazilian, half German girl and study Arts and Culture in the Netherlands.
I would describe my personality as a literal mix between Brazilian and German.
I absolutely love to dance, meeting new people, cooking, and it mostly takes me a minute longer than normal people to process new information (that is more of my Brazilian side).
My German traits are passion for books, appreciation of sarcasm and I've been getting into tea lately (but I think that's my newly discovered Yorkshire side...).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Difficult question that one :D
Being a latina, I love Latin American music (moslty reggaeton and bossa nova), but also acid jazz, house and (especially jazzy) techno.
Movies: Joker, Forrest Gump, Thelma & Louise, Little Ms Sunshine, Amélie, Lion, Billy Elliot, the invisible guest, 10 things I hate about you (and around 100 more)
Books: Before I die, the Underground Railroad, 1984
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my best experiences was probably going to Mayana, a small village in Namibia. I started a small project consisting of painting a guest house with the help of the community. But there was also so much to learn from the people there. It's hard to put it in words, but I'm happy to talk about it over tea or a beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
- I can teach people how to dance salsa and bachata (and some kizomba in the near future :D)
- I can teach some German and/or Portuguese (the Brazilian one though - it's the best one anyway)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can clean, cook and bring laughter (mostly by just being really silly, according to my friends)
