I am a 21 year old au pair looking to see America. I have been in America since September and I’m hoping to get to know the cities around me a little bit better. I hope that with couch surfing I can meet people who will give me advice about where to go and are up to having a fun conversation with me, because I love to hear everyone’s story!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well first reason might be a little straightforward but, to get free sleeping spots. And secondly it’s highly recommended by my friends, they all have good experiences. Also because you have someone to hang out with along with a sleeping place, which is great! I’m looking foreword to meet all the new people and make friends!

Interests

Everything really. Ok I know that’s a little over the top to say but I do enjoy a lot of things. And I can entertain myself really well doing anything so that’s makes it easier to have a bunch of interests. I love going out and dance and I also love to learn about the history and go to museums and stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all sorts of music movies and books. Lately I haven’t have as much time as I used to so I have not been reading much. But back when I was home I had a movie pass and we (me and my best friend) would go to the movies at least 2 times a week, with a record of a 6 movie marathon on one day 🙉. Yeah.. get a life, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly not enough. But I guess coming all the way from the Netherlands to here with a family I don’t know and no one to rely on is quite an adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things. It’s my life long dream to learn how to play an instrument, but I never had the patience for it. Also love to learning new languages, but I keep forgetting the things I’ve learned 🤦🏼‍♀️. I try though.
