My name is Caroline, I'm 20 years old, I'm French and I live in Lille, in the north of France.

I'm a student at the University of Lille for the first year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said earlier, I really want to meet people. First, I'd like to speak with the ones who live in the city or country I'm visited. And I want to meet travellers as well. Couchsurfing is THE opportunity. And I would love to host people too, in Lille :)

Interests

Sports : I love to practise sports as running, swimming, riding with a bike...
I played football (soccer) for 5 years and it's my favorite sport. I could watch games, play or talk about it everyday! And since 2 years now, I'm learning boxing and savate (French boxing) with the University of Tours.

Music : In add of listening to music every single day at least 2 hours, I play the guitar (electric and acoustic) for 7 years now. I also learned 1 year the violin and I was 3 years in an orchestra playing violin and the drums.

Travelling : I'm only 19 and I already visited 7 countries. I know that I'm lucky, especially to have been 1 month in Australia. I also was on a cruise for a week for my 18th birthday. Beyond discovering other countries, I want to meet people, other opinions of our world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have few ones.

The most recent one was I july. Like I said, I love football. And as you probably know , France won the WorldCup. So one of my favorite moment was the day of the final. I was with 10-17 of my friends, in Oléron (an island in France). We watched the game in the living room together. When we won the cuo, everyone was so happy, and I was nearly crying.
We immediately decided to celebrate it in the city center. So we took our bikes, and for 39 minutes, we went to the city center. On the road, everyone was making noise with their cars, their voices... It was crazy and so intense! When we arrived, we jumped, danced, screamed, sing... I'll never forget these hours where everyone was happy, we were all together, even with strangers, with ou French flag everywhere... Perfect moment!
