About Me

I’m a Communications student at LCC International University in Klaipeda, Lithuania, but originally I am from a relatively small city of Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. While living in Europe, I made it my duty to take every opportunity to explore the region and connect with more people with varied backgrounds and stories to tell.
If you are reading this to see what kind of topics we can discuss while drinking tea, I will gladly talk about art (currently up to my neck in 1300 Italy scene), my amateur attempts at art and journalism, the literature of the Beats period, and Ukrainian history. If we leave aside the pretentious stuff, we can also talk about tea culture (huge fan), crazy university stories with an interesting international twist, Netflix series, 90-s cinematography and ambitious plans for future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To love a city, a country, or a nation, you have to understand them. Personal biased opinion - the first-hand experience from locals is the best way to do that. That's why I am here - to learn from people, hear their stories, perspectives, and bring a small piece of my international experience to them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music band of all times is the Neighborhood; however, lately, I'm into stuff like lo-fi and indie. As concerned to films, I am a huge fan of sci-fi (Gattaka is my favorite).
Hate poetry, but Keats and Ginsberg are my people (yeah, classic poetry about nature and Beat poems about drugs and sex at the same time). As for my favorite book of all times - its "Tommy's Tale" (honestly, it's more like the life I want to live).
