About Me

I am an adventurous American looking to explore the world! I am living in Ireland for one year and want to explore as much of Europe as possible. I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, working with children, cooking and learning new skills. I love to laugh and do spontaneous activities; I enjoyed being pulled in different directions by people I meet. I love to sing and dance and I really enjoy seeing live music of any kind!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of getting a realistic view of new places I travel to and I think locals are the key to getting the best information. I find hotels impersonal and I would love to stay with hosts who are respectful, adventurous and fun loving! I am very go with the flow and can be equally entertained by something extravagant and planned, or a simple walk down the road and popping into anywhere that calls out to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies include: Step Brothers, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pirate Radio and Dumb and Dumber. I enjoy reading books about spirituality and consciousness. Some of my favorite artists include: Tame Impala, Hall and Oates, Pink Floyd and many more. I enjoy dancing in any setting and love to explore movement in the body while listening to music- new or old.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorites trips so far was last summer when I stayed in a jungle in Costa Rica. I was woken up by monkeys in the morning either howling or throwing mangos down from the tree tops. I learned how to surf and would be in the sun everyday. It was a very relaxed and trusting environment, had gorgeous scenery, and was a fabulous way to make life long friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a native English speaker and can help with anyone wanting to learn the language. I can sew, cook, clean and I really enjoy working with my hands. I enjoy practicing yoga and love to share that with people. I have been working with children for about 10 years now and I truly enjoy it. I love their imagination and lack of hesitation to be their pure selves. I am very open to learning new skills and will happily share my knowledge of anything you are interested in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with English speaking skills, sewing, cooking, cleaning and any other skills you may want to learn from me!
