Hi! I'm Ali, a Spanish travelmaker! I'm a curious girl who always wants to live a new adventure! I love to walk around a new city, discover its secrets and to get lost in every park or natural area that it has. I live every moment to the fullest and don't like to feel like I wasted my time not doing something. So I always do whatever I feel like in the moment. Life's too short to say no to our desires!
My dream is to travel the whole world and so find out different cultures and people from all over the world. Right now I'm living in Barcelona for my studies, the best city in the world! I love it cause it's full of things to do, people from all over the world to know and, of course, its weather and the beach! But I used to live in Belgium and in Germany, in order to live new experiences, learn the languages and discover the most of these countries and its people. My motto is: why not? The best it's yet to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and visit all kind of things. But there are some stuff that only the people who live there can know. And I'd love to find out all the tiny details and the curiosities about the life in other places. So I think the best way to know them is by knowing some residents who are also willing to show me their cities and to let me share my traveler's vision of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music, specially live music in a park or a pub. And more than anything when it's a ukelele. And of course, Spanish music. Which I will for sure dance, no matter when, where or how tired I am.
Fan of series of every kind, films of mistery from which the end is a surprise. But to be honest, I don't watch as much as I'd wanted since I'm always busy doing something else... Life's too short to stop! And book lover, also specially of mistery books. Currently I'm reading the Spanish Author Carlos Ruiz Zafón... love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived quite a few experiences in this years of travelling. But my favorite one will always be the 10 months I shared a house with people from 3 different continents. We learned so much about each other and our cultures. We cooked all together, laughed all together and grow up all together. They became my family in such a short period of time that it's incredible.

I love to do different things and not to follow a rutine, so if you know something rare or typical from your area, I'd love to know it!

I can help you improve your Spanish-English-French... I'm a bit freak about languages haha.
Also I could cook for you some Spanish dishes that for sure you will love! (Including sangria and the possibility to live a party as a real Spanish hahahaha).
