About Me
WHO AM I AND WHAT DO I DO?
I love nature, walks and hikes, although I move like a snail and I need a lot of snacks on my trips :D
I study microbiology, stuff about cute little bacteria and viruses. Sometimes not so cute. But still...
I am an animal lover and a vegetarian - not a dog person or a cat person, simply an animal person! I used to have a pet hedgehog and I hope to get one again in some time :)
I love dancing, I dance ballet + contemporary dance, recently I explored latin dances like salsa, bachata and have been loving them. Shuffle or electroswing also sounds very cool to me!
I go to the gym, practice yoga and aim to do a handstand... one day.
Reading and writing - what comes to my mind. Writing a book is a dream, so far I have a blog. :D
I love eating. I hope you will not notice... but it's true. The same goes with good wine and beer! The best food I ever had was in Italy, but luckily in Czech republic, there is the best wine and beer at the same time :) However, Belgian beers and fries also got my attention! :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always loved travelling but in 2016 I finally decided to start exploring more - and with my boyfriend we begun visiting Europe. We discovered CS and gave it a try (big thanks to guys from London, it was amazing!). So we visited London, Berlin and then we coach-surfed through the Netherlands, later also through Italy.
Couchsurfing suprised me, it was better than it seemed! It helped us a lot - not only by making it easier to travel on a students budget, but also by having a chance to meet many great people, helpful and friendly. I must say that I sometimes really miss them when I think of our time together :)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I will dance ...and sing...to almost anything! But I know what good music is, I grew up while listening to The Beatles :D Current favourites: Tash Sultana, Milky Chance, Lost Frequencies, Lana del Rey, George Ezra, The Kungs, X-Ambassadors, czech "underground" bands...
MOVIES
I usually prefer a book to the movie so I dont really watch movies much. I loved some classics like Star Wars, most movies by Tarantino or French comedies (Intouchables and so on). I cried a lot seeing The Misérables.
Series: Stranger things, Orange is the new Black, Lucifer or the BBC Sherlock series.
BOOKS
This is a hard task to write, as I love reading... I read everything from Dan Brown, I enjoyed the Millenium series, but also Hunger Games (before it was cool, believe me!). The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy or The World According to Garp made me laugh the most. Classics I love: 1984, Saturnin, All Quiet on the Western Front
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am learning to play ukulele, which is a little miracle for me :D
I also recently discovered the basics of DJing in the oldest DJ school in Belgium and fell in love with it!
I would love to try bungee jumping, staying in the dark for a week, get a yoga instructor certificate, do a handstand, learn to shuffle...
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
I can teach you some yoga or acroyoga, it is fun, I promise! We can also dance and I will try not to step on you. But this, I can't promise.
LEARN
basically any new skills, songs or pieces of language as I am a curious person :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
SHARE
Mainly what I look for while couchsurfing is sharing our life and travel experiences and our cultures :)
I would also like to practice my English or even French (if you are patient enough :D)
