Hi my name is Leïla. I’m from Québec, Canada. My family is from Morocco and I’ve been living in British Columbia for the last 2 years in my van. I’m really into scuba diving and I would like to do my divemaster course this winter (to become a dive guide). I also really like all outdoor activites, rock climbing, snowboarding, meeting new people, emerging myself in new cultures, sharing my own culture, etc. Etc.
I’m planning on backpacking all winter and find a place to do my divemaster ( probably Indonesia).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new on couch surfing but I’ve heard so many good things about it and I’m eager to share some new experiences. As a traveller on a budget, I think this will also be a beautiful way of travelling and still meet great people that can show me around and share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Australia, I bought a van and lived the vanlife for few months until it got stolen…. Having no car and no money but still wanting to travel Australia, I had to get out of my comfort zone and travel with only my small backpack. That’s how I fell in love with the backpacking lifestyle. I met amazing and generous people that helped me so much along the way. I brought myself back to the basic things of life. Food shelter and companionship was all I needed
