Hi I'm Rémi.
I obviously really like to travel and discover new people. I'm always up to discuss on various topics and so broaden my view on the world, or simply have some fun around a couple of beers!
I won't insert a nice quote on how you should live your life but I can explain to you how a plane flies or how a beer is brewed!
We're interrailling this summer with my gf so we're gonna be looking forward for couches and meeting couchsurfers :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to discover new people, new cultures and learn new things. I truly think that opening yourself to new people is the best way to learn about other cultures and to push back xenophobic movement that are arising across too many countries (thinking about Brexit, Euro-sceptic political parties, Trump, ...)

Interests

I'm very inquisitive, especially on science and cultural topics. I always try to be as open-minded as possible and keep an objective point of view when discovering any new topic. So I often have (more or less ^^) interesting short stories to share.

I'm not a huge music fan but you can check out those two not super famous french bands:

I really like ERB too (shout-out to the 10 million million million ... line 😀)

I have a very big collection of European comics (around 1000), and you can read any of it!

I like good movies and series in general:
- silence of the lambs
- alien
- baby driver
- whiplash
- interstellar
- star wars (not the new Disney "things", rogue one excluded)
- pulp fiction
...
As well as "bad but funny" movies:
- Rrrrrr
- Welcome to Zombieland
- The world's end
- Mars attack
However I stopped watching "pop" movies (aka many blockbusters like fast and furious, and Marvels)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been building a 2-seats wooden plane

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about many small things from my past experiences: how to make a skate deck, how a wooden plane is constructed, why do we want to go back to the moon, ...
If you want I can also bring you to a climbing crag, teach you how to belay and make you climb :)
