About Me

FIRST OF ALL READ THIS:
I will try to say that in the most polite way possible.. Couchsurfing is not Tinder! If you're here to try something, you're wasting my time (and patience) and your's, so, don't do that!

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'VE HAD FOUR DOSES OF THE VACCINE
after the pandemic and quarantine times, I'm so happy to hit road again. Here I am with my backpack full of courage, adventures, good stories and great vibes. MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE :) :)

On my first time out of Brazil and I got completely in love with the backpacking life. I can say the low-cost backpacking experience has changed my life! From January 2019 to april 2020, I traveled through 16 countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, volunteering in 9 of them. That solo trip is undoubtedly the most incredible thing I could have done for myself, I have made many dreams come true, including dreams that I never even imagined I had.

One of the most transforming work of my life so far (jun 2021 - jun 2022) was in the far north of Brazil, the state of Roraima is located on the border with Venezuela and Guyana. Living in Boa Vista - the only capital of a Brazilian state above the Equator Line - was a huge challenge, not only because of the veeeeeeeryyyyyyy hot and humid Amazonian weather, but also because of the humanitarian context where thousands of Venezuelan refugees are forced to flee every day. First time I was there, I coordinated a community radio station in the largest refugee shelter in Latin America. Made by refugees for refugees, more than 50 Venezuelan volunteers who lived in the shelters of the Operação Acolhida have already been broadcast on the radio La Voz de Los Refugiados. On my second time in Roraima (sep 2022 - sep 2023), I was working in a UN mission for the humanitarian response to the economic and political crisis in Venezuela again, as well as to the problems faced by the original indigenous peoples of the Amazon, including the Yanomamis.

I love working with human rights, so if you have any xenophobic, racist, misogynistic, sexist or homophobic thoughts, you are not welcome here. Are we clear?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, cultural exchange enriches not only the professional but also my soul, that's why I travel, to feel alive, to experience human kindness in its fullest form. This is my main mission in life: to learn, teach and share good moments!

IF U STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING, READ IT AGAIN:

Teach, Learn, Share

I consider myself an open minded and free person. I'm always smiling, spreading good energies, being kind and funny. I love meeting new people and cultures. For sure, I always try to help who is around me and if u need to talk, I'll be there. We can share a beer if you drink, laugh about the unbelievable things of life and become friends.
