Born in Poland, live in Finland. I am travelling quite often and trying to visit cities, enjoying beautiful views, doing different activities and hike all mountains. I am working in IT, which means I can work remotely from any place, not only from home, so sometimes I am allowing myself taking my job with me during my journeys. I hope that Couchsurfing community would help me with my travel efforts 😁

I am a man of many interests, starting from music, going through martial arts, astronomy and recently focused on dancing and horse riding. I am former drummer and capoeira student and recently I am dancing bachata, urbankiz, enjoying yoga, studying spanish and learning how to properly ride on a horse 🐴

I am active person, in general I don’t spend too much time in one place unless I have to work, rest or there is dancing festival. I am able to do almost any activity, but also can talk about anything, not only things related to music, martial arts, travels, but things more deep and those that matters 😎

I am also vegetarian for many reasons and with that I am not eating both meat and any fishes. What is beneficial to it is that I can bake cakes, which in free time I would love to do, not only brings tasty food, but makes me relaxed 😌

I can host up to 2 people in my apartment in Helsinki if anyone is willing to. Pets are not only allowed, but also welcome 🙏 I can offer sofa for 2 people in living room, which is connected to kitchen annex and main corridor, so it is not private room. More than that I have sauna (it’s Finland) and nice view from balcony. I also leave nearby sea and forests, so there is plenty of places to see 👌

What I am not fan of is snoring and food waste. Unfortunately I cannot fight with snoring of others (I am not snoring!) at least I do what I can to limit food waste as well as trash waste. I am trying to buy smart and eat all the food before it would be wasted or from time to time use some “food rescue” apps to buy food instead of throwing it out. Additional to that I am very focused on recycling, to limit all wastes and make environment at least a little bit more friendly for people and animals 😊

I believe expected answer is to travel world and meet many people, face with other cultures 😎 For me that statement is also true, but my true goal would be to find my place 🤩 and with that I would need to travel in many, many places. I believe Couchsurfing gives such opportunity and I would like to take it! Moreover I am aware of myself and know myself, but still I feel like there is something missing in me, so if that would be possible I would like truly and fully find and discover myself 🙂

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

I am listening to almost all types of music, yet my main are metal, epic (like battle from movies), bachata and urbankiz. Some of them are related to me as former drummer and some of them are related to my dancing hobbies. Nevertheless I also enjoy spiritual music, especially if it is connected with folklore or yoga genres.

MOVIES

Not gonna lie, Lord of the Rings series, HP series, Star Wars series, 13th warrior and other related to Viking times. Also love some animated series like Invincible, Arcane, depending on mood enjoying fairy tales for kids. I am surprised how kid movies can bring up very important values in life.

From series recently I watch Young Sheldon, Loki, Mandalorian, Black Mirror, Critical Role.

BOOKS

With all other activities I don’t have much time for books, but if I do I enjoy adventure books, I have written Witcher books, of course HP and LotR, Scouts and Percy Jackson. I would also love to read more Stephen King’s books if I find time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

TRAVEL

I took my full backpack with me for 5 weeks journey around north parts of Europe. I quit my job and traveled alone, started from Poland and using public transports like buses and trains to go through Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and back to Poland. I have met many people in hostels and visited many places including mountains, lakes, national parks, capital cities, castles, moomin Island, tropical forest in Goteborg, parks.

Also I have visited Lofoten, spent there 2 weeks with group of people during white days! I have been hiking almost every day, cayacing, and party till very mornings, all of that made with camping in tents.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH

I am not certified person to teach anything, but I am have many skills, even few years so I can teach you following: drumming, capoeira, dancing, English/Polish, few survival skills or baking.

LEARN

I am learning many things at one time. Right now I am mostly focus on: bachata and horse riding. I am dancing bachata for over year now and horse riding I started half year ago. As bachata is going well and I think I have basic skills and learning Intermediate level, in horse riding I can already walk, both sitting and riding trot and learning canter at the moment. Of course other horse riding skills like transitions and proper commands and communication with horse I am still learning during classes.

Other than that I am learning urbankiz and spanish.
