Hi! I'm Noemi, a 22 years old girl from Galiza (Spain). I recently finished my university studies so now I'm having a 'rest year' in Italy. I will be here for months doing different kinds of 'workaways' for learning the language and then working in a agroturismo from Umbria's region :D

I like the simple but good things! Reading, surfing, drink some beers with friends, the sun, the poetrys slams, the street art, walking a lot in the middle of the nature or in a new city...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling but not as a standard tourist. For me is more important have a contact with people than take a lot of selfies in all the monuments of the place! So, I really like the couchsurfing philosophy.

Moreover, now I'm in Italy doing different kinds of vounteerings, so probably sometimes I will need a sofa in some place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like everything (even reggeaton... when It's feminist reggaeton :D). I love punk, ska, brasilian music, tradicional music from everywhere... but always depends about the moment.

Books: Celso Emilio Ferreiro (a antifa and Galician poetry!)

Movies: specially dramatic films and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A volunteering in Bretagne (France) sleeping in tents and helping to revitalize Breton cultural heritage during one month. I really falled in love with the nature, the coast, the people and specially their music and their traditional dances!
