Hi, I'm Ana. I'm an absolutely crazy single mum of three kids and caretaker of anywhere between 3 and 15 cats (I volunteer for a pet shelter). I love travelling and we do travel a lot. The craziest our trip so far was a two-month-car journey round Europe (the kids were 7, 5 and 1 at the time)- 7,000 km. I normally work (as a teacher) for about 30 hours per day, and as soon as I get a day off we are on the road.

Now as I'm becoming more experienced on Couchsurfing I would like to add several things: Firstly, when you contact me, tell me what your plans for the visit are. The estimated time of arrival, how long you are planning to stay the next day, whether you want to see the city, go out, or just stay overnight. Secondly: I'm not ready to give you the key. So, if I go out- you go out. On weekdays I leave my home pretty early, so please consider that before writing. Thirdly: my home is not a free hostel, if you contact me I would like to know how spending time together could be fun or useful/ informative for me as well. And last but not least: sorry, I don't run a restaurant. If you stay with me you are free to use my kitchen, but I really don't want to be responsible for your diet: so make sure you don't expect meals served for you. Sometimes me and the kids are happy to share a meal, sometimes we are not, I really don't want any pressure being put on me.
