I'm a 26 year old former professional basketball player. After graduating from college in 2015, all I'd planned was to be a pro as my career. After shattering my knee in Germany and 4 surgeries later, I'm realizing I need to find a new plan. I was passionate about playing and now I hope to find something else I'm passionate about. Until I find that new career, I know in the meantime nothing is more exciting to me than traveling, learning new things, meeting new faces and seeing the world. I'm taking on a bet that maybe I can travel the world with not a lot of money in my bank account.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine referred me to this site one time when we were talking about all the places we'd love to travel to and how expensive it would be to keep renting out places. I could sleep in a tent under a freeway and I'd still enjoy a trip as long as I had a place to sleep and opportunities to roam. It's ideas like Couchsurfing that impress me everyday.
