I'm 25 years old graduate from small country located in heart of Europe - Slovakia.

When I was 18 my mum told me: finally you reached legal age to travel on your own, so go and see the world" .. indeed I went! 🌏

Already studied and lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for half a year - traveling as much as possible, while on the other side of world. Year after studied in sunny Portugal - learning language and surfing.

Throughout the summer time I always tend to make some money working abroad, 2021 was in my dream come true destination - Iceland. I lived in Iceland!! 😁 For two summers in the past I also worked in Cambridge UK, as a "guide" for international students.

Last year after Erasmus in Portugal I was supposed to go back to uni and finish my masters, but the life had different plans and as my mum suddenly passed away I couldn't focus on school anymore, so I took a gap year.

To overcome my grief, I walked 260km through south Portugal, where I realized, that if I want to make it through the hard times I need to continue doing things that bring me happiness to life. Soo..

🦎I applied for volunteering in Gran Canaria and spent 2 months on the Canary Islands - GC, Tenerife, La Gomera. 🕌 Through Morroco came back to Portugal took a car and roadtrip-it back to Slovakia.
🇳🇴Moved to Norway for summer, spent 4 months working as a waiter/bartender on the biggest fjord in the world.
👍🏻 🛣️After summer, hitchhiked it from Norway through Sweden, Finland, Baltics and Poland back home. It took me one month stopping by a bit haha. (I met wonderful people on the way and many through CS, which Im beyond grateful for. )
🌊🌴Came back to SE Asia!! With my best friend Martina traveled for 2 months through Thailand, our beloved Malaysia (this time also Borneo!!) Bali and Philipines
🇯🇵🗾 Visited Japan for a week on the way home!! 💖
Returned back to Europe and did interrailing for 2 months 🚄🚉🛤️
Succesfully finnished masters degree 👨‍🎓 and spent another summer working in Norway 🇳🇴

Because how else could I tell the story of staying at kindergarten in Taiwan, making traditional soup at 2am in Jerusalem, staying with nudists in Madrid or staying in villa with private chef in Dubai. And because I believe there are still many stories that need to happen (:

And because the person offering own home, to share with a stranger, must be among the nicest people in the world and we need to share a hug at least haha.

Plus I Can’t wait to settle down in some cool place and start hosting myself 💛

Decided not to give up on life in hard times, turning around the worst year of my life into the best one.

Also I have walked 260km in south of Portugal, Hiked Teide (3700) in Tenerife, Mt. Bromo in Indonesia, been bitten by a monkey in Cambodia, jumped out of the plane, swam with the baby sharks or bioluminescent algae in Malaysia, or have seen the midnight sun in Iceland and northern lights in Norway.
