Hi! My name is André and I'm from Vitória, Brazil.

I'm a carefree college student and future science teacher. My hometown lies in a state between Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. It's the perfect place to go to the beach, eat good food, connect with nature or have drinks with some friends. I also have emotional roots with Rio and São Paulo, where I've had a lot of great times with my family and friends. Currently based in Vitória and studying at Ufes.

A little more about me:
- My motto is to live life one step at a time and try not to rush things up.
- I consider myself a minimalist in many ways, but I still have to work it out with food...
- Not a vegetarian but I really appreciate vegan/vegetarian dishes and frequently prepare meat-free meals.
- My ideal going out experience is to have a nice conversation under a glass of beer, cider or wine.
- I'm generally introverted and more of a listener, but I've got some stories to tell too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people with different backgrounds from different cultures so I can get to know more about the world as it truly is.
I intend to be a host once I start living by myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played percussion for a school of samba at the 2016 carnival parade in my city, which is much like the one from Rio de Janeiro. It was thrilling!
