My name is Ana Paula and i'm 26 years old.
i studied Psychology and i want to be a therapist in the future!
Personality:
Well, since i study Psychology, I know that explain my personality it's a complicated task but i'm a very emphatic person i love love to listen to people and i love having good conversations.
My obsession for travelling began three years ago, when i went to visit Europe for the first time with my best friends. I can't explain the feeling but the fact that i was in a completely new place, with new people was the best! And since then, i started to work when i was 19 years old to have the opportunity to continue my travells.
The very first trip i did with my own money was to Perú, i visited Machu Picchu of course, Lima and Cuzco and it was awesome, the food, the people, the llamas, everything! And when i got back to Mexico City i had $0.00 in my account so, i continue working to have something in my credit card haha.
I think that was my first accomplishment as independent!
The second one that i'm very proud, is that i bought my first camera with my own money because i love love love to take pictures of everything and of people, photography is my favorite hobby for sure and my parents didn't want me to buy me a camera so i worked and save the enough money to buy it! and since then, i have taken pictures like crazy!

Recently, i went on summer to Hamburg becase of a summer camp called CISV.
This camp basically what it does is to promote world peace, so you go to a country with your delegation in this case of your country, and you go to a random country to meet other delegations from all around the world and we start to make activities that talks about the problems of our countries, what we can do to avoid it and stuff like that which is really cool because you get to meet people from different countries and you get to listen to their perception about life in their countries and actual problems they are dealing with.

About my family: i have a brother and a sister, my sister is the same age as a im, yes we were born on the same day but we are not twins. And i have a brother older than me, he is 24 years old.
My sister is studying comunicaction and my brother is studying politic science. I live with them, my mom and my grandmother. Sadly my parents are divorced, but they get along pretty well, which is cool :).

Personal interests: well like i said i like photography a lot! i think that's my favorite thing in the whole world. I also like to be with kids and just play with them because they are very fun and i get along with them pretty well.
I also like to play tennis, i played for a very long time, like 8 years which i'm very good at! When i was little i was in tennis tournaments and i won most of them.
What i like about me is that i'm very determined and responsible because if i want something i will get it for sure, it doesn't matter the challenge i have to go through, i will make it possible. What i don't like about me is that i'm very obssesive, which means that i want everything to go as i planned and if that doesn't happend i lose my mind.

I can go on and on talking about my life in general but honestly what i want for Couchsurfing is a life and unique experience!

I get to know Couchsurfing because of Youtube, i started looking up for tips to travel with a low budget and every video i saw about it, the people mentioned Couchsurfing, so I decided to give it a try and have differents eperiences.

I think by far my favorite music is rap. My favorites rappers are:

I also like techno a lot and chill songs, i don't want to brag, but i have a really good taste in music :)

Movies
That is always a hard one! i like all types of movies except the scary ones. But definetely my two favourites are Les Choristes and Forrest Gump
And for books, i used to read a lot, but because University i only read books that are related to Pyschology which obviously i don't mind because i love my career.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a hard one!
Like i said, i loved photography since i was little but my parents didn't want me to buy me one because it was very expensive so i worked around 6 months to buy the camera i wanted, and when i did, i was the happiest girl ever because i love my camera so much and it was the result of my hard work and sacrifice.

I can cook some delicious mexican food and also share all my experiences of my travels as well as my knowledge in Pyschology if you are interested and share good conversations about any topic because i'm a pretty good listener :)
