About Me

Im a colombian/ecuadorian student based in Guayaquil, Ecuador (for now), moving to Germany soon, really open to being social and kinda high energy when i get comfortable. More about me to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to share my culture and get to know more about yours. I grew up dealing with quite some different cultures since I was born, so the lines are kinda blurry, but i got some of everything to share with you if you are interested. I really like to meet new people and to get to take a little of their day to day with me, struggles and joys, so I decided to check the app out.

Do talk about anything you are passionate about.

By all means I'm looking for open minded people in general. This is important.

Interests

Well, most of these are my hobbies, i play the ukulele mainly since its pretty portable and versatile, i also play the piano and sax but those aren't exactly lightweight so uke is the best companion.

Philosophy and anthropology are just great conversation topics and all times favourites so I'll just leave this here.

I really like anything that can keep my attention for a while, like street art and some other types of performance, art is cool overall, i appreciate it much, but i have all kinds of interests around it, mainly films and theater.

Learning new cultures and languages is also one of my big interests, seeing how widely some differ its pretty shocking, so I sometimes go for eccentric cultures and languages that can widen my way of appreciating the world, since we are all so very diverse. Love to overanalyze so yeah reading literature is in too, tho reading in general is a pretty amazing thing to be able to do. Also into comics.

Other than that technology and videogames are great things to discuss, we could ramble about favorite videogames for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ohhh so, i just want to drop the name Scott Pilgrim around for anyone aware, then i really like Sartre.

Jazz and soul, and rock too really among others for music, and well pop too yeah whatever its catchy.

On movies i like pretty much it all, I have a high appreciation for all parts of film, so all kinds of things. I like Studio Ghibli a lot but i go for musicals, drama, thriller, animation whatever as long as it has something good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This feels really subjective, but paragliding perhaps? Or rafting and canyoning? I've been chased down by a spiting llama so yeah xsportssss. I've also swam with sharks on the Galapagos.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well i can share my personality? Here trying to be real :D We can discuss lenguage and phonetics, im pretty interested on that, and if you've ever try to learn a non Indo-European language you know how they can completely destroy what u think you know of lenguage.

If we get the time we can cook, and discuss cultural differences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The least i hope i can give them is some interesting dark and bright stories and my help for as much as i can do, im pretty organized which can be as bad as it is good but i manage on all kinds of environments.
