About Me

I'm an engineering student with a great passion for learning more than what university has to offer.
I agree that travelling is the best (and most pleasant) way of doing just that, so why not enjoy it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always heard my sister's amazing travel stories and how Couchsurfing allowed her to travel in the most genuine way possible. I was so fascinated I even made a presentation about it for English class.
But there's nothing better than experiencing things for myself :)
I'll be traveling through Europe in July and besides meeting new places, I'm also interested in meeting new people (while managing a low budget... win-win situation!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to various music styles but mostly indie rock and hip hop. Anything from Arctic Monkeys (I was lucky enough to be on the frontline in one of their shows), Portugal The Man, The Beatles, Tame Impala, Cage The Elephant, Ornatos Violeta, Capitão Fausto... to Eminem, Childish Gambino, and Slow J.
Favorite movies include Forrest Gump, LOTR, The Hobbit, La La Land, Fight Club, Harry Potter, Gone Girl.
However, I'm much more addicted to tv shows and have watched How I Met Your Mother way too many times to count now. I'm also a big fan of Friends, Breaking Bad, OITNB, GoT, Modern Family, Dr. House, Stranger Things, The Mentalist, Rick&Morty... but I claim "I have no free time"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the middle of the Swiss Alps with people from all over the world. This is one of many amazing opportunities that Scouting has provided me with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and I believe food can be such a genuine way of showing someone your origins. I would love to cook some Portuguese meals as well as share some of my culture and the best insights about my country.
