I came from Singapore to the Baltimore, United States to intern, and love traveling over here in US. I love being in the Nature and have been to a few National Parks in the West Coast (Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Zion, Sequoia, Yosemite). Been to the Shenandoah at the East Coast.

I speak English and Mandarin, had taken Japanese for 3 years so I can speak some basic, simple Japanese. I always wanted to work in Japan someday to experience their culture.

I like to cycle. I basically cycle everywhere in Baltimore - to work, to grocery shopping, to my friend's house, to downtown, to Buddhist centre etc. I went on a bikepacking trip (bike + camping) before and really enjoyed the outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to talk to people, especially when I am traveling. Most of the time I travel alone, especially when I go for long trips (2 or 3 weeks), it is difficult to get a friend to come along because he/she might have work/ school. So instead of just sticking with a friend throughout the journey, I like to meet new people, talk to people and learn something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

️ Been to Everest Base Camp (Tibet Autonomous Region, China) and the view is amazing
️ See shooting stars at 5200m (17,056ft)
️ Sat through a train ride for 42hrs (Beijing to Lhasa)
️ Drove 5375 miles with a friend in one week
️ Drove to Death Valley on a spare tire. But view of the night sky is so worth it.
️ Hiked up to the Angle's Landing at Zion National Park
️ Walk through Antelope Canyon
️ Caught the sunset at California highway 1
