I am a 23 year old traveler. I have a college diploma in Paralegal Studies and worked in Toronto as a legal assistant for 3 years. I’ve always had a passion for travel. This lead me to leave my comfortable Toronto life, I quit my job and sold the majority of my belongings. I moved to Milan, Italy in October and I’ve been working as an Au Pair ever since.
I absolutely love the idea of Couchsurfing, I’d much rather stay with some amazing people and see the true cities, rather than staying in a hotel and doing the “jump on-off tour”

Sadly since I am an Au Pair I am unable to host. My friend use to host in Toronto often so I know there is a demand! Once I return back to Canada and get on my feet I am happy to host... staying with me you will get the TRUE CANADIAN EXPERIENCE. My family has a cozy cottage up north that I’m planning on hosting if possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I want to travel and meet amazing new people. I am very easy going with traveling. I would love to spend time with the host and travel around. Show me your favorite places to go, and more importantly... places to eat. I love to hear other peoples opinions and learn about the similarities and differences in different cultures.
But I am also comfortable with being on my own. If the host is working and is busy. Completely understandable. I am usually a morning person and will be up and out of your way before work. I also don't stay up very late. All I need is a few recommendations and i'm on my way!

I listen to just about everything and anything... really. Show me some music, I’m sure we will find something we both enjoy.
I’ll read just about anything, but some nights I’d rather a blanket and a movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... I’ve always wanted to do some charity work. So I made a plan to raise some money and travel to El Salvador to build a house with Habitat for Humanity. 2 months prior to the trip my friend and I decided to do some typical Canadian ice skating... this lead to me breaking both my elbows, dislocated my wrist and tore a ligament in my arm.
I had a cast for 6 weeks and with a few weeks of physiotherapy and acupuncture, I was on my flight to El Salvador.
Moral of the story I’m not a typical Canadian as I am awful at all winter sports... all, and I am one determined girl.

I am quite the story teller, I love to read but I hate to keep books. I’m more than happy to bring some of my favourite novels.
