Hi! I'm Carmen.
I'm from Valladolid and Mallorc but I am working as a mechanical engineering in Magdeburg, Germany. I live here with my boyfriend Alberto and we have a very confortable couch :D We are always up for do tourism, drink beer and have fun.

I define myself as a good person, outgoing, friendly, fun and polite. I like to meet new people and make friends, learn new cultures and especially try new food, I'm such a foodie! :)
I think that couchsurfing is an amazing way to know cities as they really are. There is nothing better than discover a city with local people.

We like to play spikeball and vicking chess. Also we like to do bbq and we LOVE to play board games! We have a lot and our friends have more than us. One wednesday every two weeks we usually go to karaoke or to some techno rave.
Also our neighbour Joe is like our brother

I think that this is an amazing way to discover cities and I think locals can teach you the best way to visit them.

When I was in Erasmus I did it and was a very beautiful experience. But because of the pandemic my chances to travel this past 3 years were so low I was not able to try it again.
Like the rest of the world I have been through a lot this past 3 years but now I am able to go for adventures again!

I like travel, of course;), go to the cinema, shopping, reading, listen music, go to concerts, museums and I like party.
Also I like opera so if there is a good one in Berlin or Leipzig I will go for sure.

I'm the queen of "tortilla de patata" which is a Spanish tipical dish, I can teach you how to make it. Also I can teach Spanish:)
I love food so it will be a plasure for me if you want to teach me tipical dishes from your region.
I am trying to improve my english but it will be amazing too to learn a little bit of other languages.

Magdeburg is the capital of the Saxn Anhalt. It is not a big city but it has a charming atmosphere. Here you can see the famous Grüne Zitadelle a pink house that remembers Gaudi architecture, there are two old cathedrals and a pretty center.
The surroundings of Magdeburg are perfect for cycling and walking. Nearby is the "Magdeburg Water Bridge" that passes over the Elbe River.
Berlin, Leipzig and Halle are located about 100/150 km from Magdeburg and are connected by train and bus.

If it is possible write me, at last, one week before your arrival so I will be able to prepare the house :D
