My name is Gabrielle, but I usually just go by Gabby. I'm 28 years old, originally from the Bronx, NY. I am a social worker by profession, and am currently working as a Youth Development Volunteer in the Kingdom of Eswatini in Africa. My passion for service and African culture brought me to the beautiful continent of Africa.

One of my favorite quotes is by Anthony Bourdain and he says, "Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life—and travel—leaves marks on you." My favorite part of traveling is the opportunity for authentic connection to new cultures and people. Traveling helps to reveals us to ourselves, allowing us to look inward and get closer to our truth.
