Hello! My name is Carolina!

Well, I've been traveling in Italy these past 5 months while staying with a family I found on Workaway platform. Now I decided to establish myself (at least for a while) in the country I fell in love with, so I decided to give it shot to Firenze. I'm 23 years old, just graduate at business school, with a minor in marketing (which has always been of my many interests!), but then I figured out the corporate world is not for me, at least for now hahaha.
I really enjoy being outside and actually moving myself and my body, so I that's why I decided to travel and learn things (and also myself) in a more human way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, It's my first time in Europe, Italy, and I really think I could have real experience with locals while traveling. I've had some great recommendations from friends so decided to try it out!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music, watching movies and reading too! Something I find really interesting about reading and watching movies is that they transport me to a different place, even if it is for just a couple minutes. And music, well, I love dancing, in a way of shaking off things, awakening the body, or just to have fun with friends.

Here are some things I've been on lately:

Music: anything that I can dance to is very welcomed! I like a bit of everything, really, no hard time on music with me. I go from Bossa Nova, to Beatles, also jazz (hey there Frank Sinatra) and music from the last decades'. Musicals songs, of course, some catchy pop music, it really depends on my mood.

Movies: Well, Forrest Gump is still one of my favorites, but The Greatest Showman has found itself a space in my top 5 list. In general, I like movies that have some sparkle of new, of a message, of a feeling, or something. Is very hard for me to choose a favorite movie, but right now I'm desperate to watch Avengers Endgame before someone spoils it first hahaha

Books: I left Harry Potter in this list, but I like the movies too ;) I used to read a lot, but them life came in the way hehe, but I still look for some book time throughout the weeks. Right now I'm reading a novel called The Taster, Is based in Germany during the Second Wolrd War. Also, I have The hate you give, My life on the road and a book about food on my list of May.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I'm not really good when talking about myself, but I believe I've done some pretty nice things, as I think everybody has done in their lives, but also believe there are more incredible things I'm looking forward to doing and achieving!

I guess we can discover it better when we meet ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm into the bullet journal thing, so I can help/guide with this. I can teach some techniques of life hahahah, I love talking (and listening, very important to say) about ideas and life, so that can be a very interesting conversation.
I can teach some of the few languages I know, a few words. I've also just read a book about how to master languages, so I can save you some reading and share some advice on what I've been discovering ;)
I like herbs and plants too! But that is something I still need to learn better.
I'm very handy, so I can help with anything needed, especially organizing. That's something I've been doing with the family I'm "Workawaying" at for the past 4 months.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, great conversations, some coking or adventures in the kitchen hahahaha.
I can be very curious, so I'm very interested in new stories, and I am a good listener ;)
