Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a job now that gives me a long vacation during winter and summer and I decided I want to spend my time seeing nearby countries that I otherwise couldn’t visit if I were living an ordinary life back home. Someone mentioned this app in a news article talking about how they spent their life traveling the world and they highly recommended trying this so thats why I am here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have been a DJ for many years so I like all kinds of fun and interesting music.

Movies: I love keeping up with all of the hollywood movies and I think the movie theaters in Thailand are amazing.

Books: My goal is to read the army chief of staff’s professional reading list (lots of geography and history books and international relations). Also some PhD reading lists about China and ethnic studies in the US.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a bus by myself from Vietnam, through Cambodia, to Thailand. That was probably the coolest thing I had ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, fluently and I would love to learn sign language. I can also make simple drawings and Im good at charades so even if we don’t have a common language I think it can still be easy to understand each other and have a nice time together

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my music with my hosts, Help clean, take you out to eat, etc. ,Help train your dog, feed your birds... What can I do for you?
